Job Details

The FP&A Manager will be primarily responsible for the budgeting, planning and forecasting process, compiling management reporting and KPI’s and communicating and reviewing monthly results with key stakeholders.

Education and/or

Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Experience with Adaptive Planning solution highly preferred

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of the annual corporate budget by working closely with department leaders to collect assumptions and inputs.
Help maintain and enhance the company’s financial model to support planning and decision making.
Lead and support financial modeling, strategic analysis, and other analytical initiatives.
Monitor revenue and expense trends to keep forecasts accurate within Adaptive and distribute updated projections as needed.
Continuously improve reporting structures and analytical outputs within Adaptive Planning.
Maintain the Adaptive Planning system to ensure accurate reporting, data integrity, and appropriate user access.
Review monthly financial results and investigate variances to budget, providing feedback to Accounting when adjustments are required.
Prepare and distribute month end budget vs. actual reporting to senior leadership, including development of reporting packages and responding to related questions.
Compile and deliver monthly and quarterly management reports highlighting company metrics and key performance indicators.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting and financial modeling to give leadership clearer visibility into business performance.
Track key performance indicators, analyze trends, and investigate drivers behind unexpected results.
Assist in the evaluation of potential strategic finance initiatives and opportunities.
Partner with Sales leadership and the Director of Rev Ops to develop sales targets that align with broader company objectives.
Complete ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests as needed.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

Required

7-10 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Investment Banking, Private Equity or Strategic Finance
Experience in SaaS/Software industry required.
Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability.
Prior experience working in companies that measure ARR and other common SaaS metrics.
Exceptional modeling and strategic analysis skills.
Innate curiosity, always looking for ways to be helpful in order to improve processes and support the business
Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing with all levels of management.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment with many competing priorities.
Self-starter with the ability to multi-task.
Proactively identifies and pursues opportunities for improvement
Hard-working, detail oriented and committed to producing great end results.
Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team.
Excellent time management/prioritization and project management skills.
