As a Branch Ambassador, you will work with people and share product knowledge to support customers’ banking experiences. You will perform a wide variety of transactions (check cashing, deposits, transfers, withdrawals) while monitoring fraud mitigation and adhering to established policies and procedures. You will resolve customer inquiries quickly and deliver an extraordinary customer experience. The role requires adaptability and a growth mindset, with a focus on customer experience as part of a reimagined banking experience.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with customers and connect them with relevant products and services, helping with technology challenges and guiding conversations.
  • Assess personal and business financial needs and coordinate with experts to guide customers toward their financial goals.
  • Ensure compliance with audit, security policies and procedures in accordance with Bank policy and Federal regulations.
  • Support customers across branch needs, including cash handling and service needs, rotating throughout the branch as required.
  • Enhance the overall retail customer experience by reducing handoffs and acting as the branch expert.
  • Learn continuously about Capital One products, services, and experiences to guide customers effectively.
  • Be digitally savvy and educate customers on mobile and online channels, and how to navigate the branch’s technology.
  • Collaborate with a team of banking professionals and support teammates to deliver strong outcomes.
  • Research and answer customer inquiries to enhance retention and engagement, leveraging tools to recommend solutions.
  • Travel between branches in the assigned local area to support the market you are assigned.

Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • At least 1 year of Retail, Sales, or Customer Service experience
  • At least 6 months of cash handling experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree
  • 2+ years of Retail, Sales, or Banking experience

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries are quoted for candidates hired to work within one of these locations and refer to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on hours worked.

  • Ashburn, VA: $48,048 per year
  • Chantilly, VA: $48,048 per year
  • Gainesville, VA: $48,048 per year
  • Herndon, VA: $48,048 per year
  • Leesburg, VA: $48,048 per year
  • Vienna, VA: $48,048 per year
  • Warrenton, VA: $48,048 per year

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered will be reflected in the offer letter.
