Construction Superintendent

We are hiring for one of the premier residential/commercial construction firms in Northern Virginia wrapping up a data center project within the next two months and is anticipating two additional interior project awards.

We are actively hiring two Superintendents to support:

• Data Center Whitespace Buildout (core/guts of the facility)
• Interior Commercial & Residential Projects ranging from $500K-$1M projects spanning 15,000–30,000 SF

These Superintendents will organize, manage, and control assigned projects to ensure objectives of budget, quality, scheduling, and safety are achieved. This individual will oversee daily field operations, supervise subcontractors, manage site productivity, and coordinate closely with Project Management and Field Operations leadership. Crew sizes range from 15–30 workers.

• 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM EST

• 8-hour shifts between 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Averaging ~50 hours/week
• Occasional Saturdays and overtime expected

• Manage day-to-day jobsite operations and sequencing
• Direct subcontractor workflow in alignment with project schedule
• Maintain detailed daily logs and field documentation
• Ensure safety standards and OSHA compliance
• Identify schedule risks and proactively mitigate delays
• Coordinate inspections, permits, and closeout documentation
• Communicate clearly with project stakeholders and leadership

• 3–8+ years of experience as a Superintendent in:
• Residential
• One role may focus strictly on interiors; the other may require broader exposure including MEP coordination
• Strong understanding of plans, specifications, and constructability
• Experience supervising crews of 15+ personnel

• Procore
• Microsoft Excel
• MS Project
• Plus: Primavera

• OSHA 10 (Required)
• OSHA 30 (Preferred)

• Ability to work occasional weekends and overtime

• Reliable, punctual, and accountable
• Self-starter who can make decisions without constant oversight
• Strong communicator who provides clear and timely field updates
