Haz Tek is hiring a Night Shift Safety Specialist near Ashburn, VA
. We're seeking a proactive and experienced Data Center Safety Specialist to lead on-site safety efforts and ensure full compliance with OSHA standards.

• Oversee all aspects of industrial construction projects ensuring OSHA compliance
• Develop and enforce safety policies, procedures, and training materials tailored to mechanical trades
• Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and subcontractors to promote a safety-first culture.
• Conduct daily safety meetings
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
• Ensure all personnel wear their personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ensure proper and safe use of ladders, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and other elevated work platforms.
• Daily safety audits and inspections
• Inspect power tools and heavy equipment

• Ability to work from 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM required
• Minimum 3+ years of construction safety experience required
• OSHA 30 in Construction required
• First Aid/CPR certified required
• Must have experience working on data center or mission critical builds
• Must have experience in Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are a plus
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards
• Excellent verbal and written skills
