Reports To:
Site Engineering Manager Role Purpose Lead and manage the factory's maintenance function to ensure 24/7 plant reliability, compliance with safety and legal standards, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities Oversee all maintenance activities and ensure effective performance of plant and equipment. Manage and develop engineering team and apprentices (Years 1–4). Act as deputy for Site Engineering Manager when required. Plan and coordinate internal resources and external contractors. Manage CMMS for scheduling and reporting. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety standards. Monitor utilities usage and implement reduction plans.
Specify, cost, and deliver small to medium projects. Maintain building fabric and infrastructure. Skills & Experience Strong leadership and team management skills. Experience in engineering maintenance within manufacturing. Competent in CMMS and project management. Knowledge of health & safety and food safety standards.
