The Role:Special Projects & Executive Associate
We are seeking a high-energy, highly organized
Special Projects & Executive Associate
to support Moxie’s CEO, Maggie Moran, and EVP of Public Affairs & New Jersey President, Megan Cryan Bell. This is a unique opportunity for a rising star with political or advocacy experience who thrives in fast-paced environments, has top-tier organizational skills, and wants to be at the center of a firmthat’sreshaping the field.
This role blends executive support, strategic projects, writing, research, and internal coordination.
You’llgain direct exposure to firm leadership, client strategy, and business development — with a clear opportunity to grow within the company.

- Manage complex schedules andlogisticsfor two senior leaders
- Coordinate in-office meetings, events, and activities at the direction of the CEO
- Serve as a trusted right hand — jumping in on tasks big and small to keep things moving
- Draft social media content for both clients and firm leadership platforms
- Conduct research and prepare briefing memos on prospective clients and business opportunities
- Manage meeting planning, follow-ups, and prep — always with a sharp eye for detail
- Support the operational flow of the firm and ensure priorities are executed seamlessly
- Up to 3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment — campaign, government, nonprofit, or agency preferred
- Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Exceptional writing and research skills, with the ability to switch between formats and tones
- Comfortable managing multiple projects, deadlines, and moving parts
- A problem-solver who thrives in a team environment and can also work independently
- A strong interest in public affairs, communications, advocacy, and business strategy
- A passion for learning, growing, and being part of a mission-driven team
