** Overview:
** We’re hiring a
** COTA
* * to join our dynamic rehab team at Arvin Post Acute, a Medicare-certified skilled nursing facility just outside Bakersfield. Help our residents regain independence and function through meaningful therapy work in a compassionate environment.
** Responsibilities:
*** Deliver patient treatments under licensed OT direction
* Accurately document care and progress
* Communicate with therapy and nursing staff
* Assist with caregiver training and discharge prep
* Maintain safety and cleanliness of treatment areas
* Participate in training and staff in-services
*
* Qualifications:
*** Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – California license
* CPR certified (or ability to obtain)
* Skilled nursing/rehab experience preferred
* Strong interpersonal and clinical skills
