Software Development Engineer in Test; SDET Security Clearance

Position: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with Security Clearance
This role focuses on building and automating tests, combining software engineering, Dev Ops, and testing. The primary goal is to mirror customer use cases, such as testing satellite tracking, antenna reservation, or satellite command and control services, by simulating hundreds to thousands of satellites running operations while ensuring system resilience. This position also involves overseeing the testing of operational recovery procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Building and automating software tests. Fixing bugs in currently deployed software. Mirroring customer use cases for satellite tracking, antenna reservation, and command and control services. Simulating large-scale satellite operations to ensure system resilience. Overseeing the testing of operational recovery procedures. Requirements:
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Typescript/Java script.

Experience with End-to-End test suites such as Playwright or Cypress. Strong knowledge of containerized applications and serverless architecture. Strong knowledge of testing and troubleshooting API services, distributed No

SQL and relational databases, caching systems, event-driven, and multi-tier architectures. Strong knowledge of task automation and CI/CD pipeline building, preferably with Git Hub actions. Familiarity with Git and Git Hub or a similar framework for version control. Deep technical analysis and troubleshooting skills. Independent self-starter; able to complete projects on time with minimal guidance. A high standard for software maintainability, quality, resilience, and performance.

Strong cross-functional communication skills with frontend and backend engineers and product managers. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 3+ years of professional experience in software test, backend development, Dev Ops, or a related role. Experience supporting validation and verification for complex software systems.

Preferred Qualifications:
