Description
As a nursery and perennials sales associate, you will be the main point of contact for Echter's customers. You will have an opportunity to share your knowledge and passion for plants with fellow Coloradans wishing to add more beauty into their lives. The most essential responsibility of this position will be providing exceptional customer service and guiding shoppers through plant selection to care and upkeep for success.
Nursery and perennial sales associates will work closely with the growing team to ensure plants are priced and stocked to the retail floor.
A day in the life of a nursery and perennials sales associate could include:
- Answering phones
- Providing customer assistance
- Replanting
- Pricing
- Stocking & merchandising
- Unloading plant shipments
- Plant maintenance
- Cashiering
Echter's provides training and education for each of its team members so although previous plant knowledge is valued, it is not required for this position. More importantly, we are looking for someone who is/has:

- Must be 18 years old or older
- Able to lift 40 lbs. or more
