Process Attendant

The Process Attendant will provide critical feedback from the field to the central control room and production supervisor on all aspects of production operations. Responsible for operating mobile equipment on a continuous basis to maintain raw material levels for consistent processing.

• Ensure raw materials storage area has proper guarding, material flow and equipment soundness.
• Walkthrough raw mill grinding circuit and check for equipment soundness, material leaks and air leaks.
• Ensure preheater tower is free from air and material leaks, measure temperatures; look for normal operating conditions.
• Walkthrough finish mill circuit and inspect for equipment soundness, material leakage, and air leaks.
• Use compressed air to promote material flow in chutes and remove blockages as necessary.
• Work with high‑pressure water spray to remove the material blockage from outside of high‑temperature vessels.
• Learn and understand process flow.
• Maintain the company standards for workplace cleanliness/orderliness.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to drive and operate various equipment such as front‑end loaders, skid steers, forklifts and bobcats.
• Knowledge of all types of equipment used in the manufacturing of cement.
