Position Overview

Legrand’s Kratos business is seeking a collaborative and forward-thinking Sr. Director of Operations to lead end-to-end operational performance across our manufacturing and supply chain footprint. This leadership role supports a rapidly scaling engineered-to-order business focused on low- and medium-voltage switch gear. As a member of our senior leadership team, you will partner across Engineering, Project Management, Sales, Finance, and Product to strengthen operational capabilities and ensure predictable, high-quality delivery.

What

Will You Do
  • Lead operational performance across Supply Chain & Logistics, Fabrication, Assembly, and Quality.
  • Develop and execute long-range manufacturing and supply chain strategies.
  • Translate enterprise strategy into clear, actionable operating plans.
  • Establish metrics and routines that support predictable execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement to enhance flow, throughput, quality, and cost.
  • Guide procurement and supply chain operations to support material availability.
  • Build a resilient and diverse supplier network.
  • Optimize inventory, material flow, and working capital.
  • Ensure environmental, health, and safety performance across facilities.
  • Lead quality systems and support ISO 9001 certification.
  • Strengthen built-in quality practices to enhance first-pass yield.
  • Build, develop, and empower a high-performing operations leadership team.
  • Promote adoption of ERP tools and data-driven decision-making.
  • Represent Operations in executive discussions and cross-functional planning.
Compensation

$190,000 - $205,000 per year

  • Experienced in multi-site operations leadership, ideally in engineered-to-order or project-based manufacturing.
  • Adept at balancing strategic thinking with operational execution.
  • A clear communicator who collaborates naturally across functions.
  • A systems thinker who identifies trends and drives sustainable improvements.
  • Committed to inclusive leadership, coaching, and team development.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
