Position SummaryThe Technician Supervisor (Navy Product) is responsible for ensuring quality, safety and timeliness of critical Navy Product through the Assembly & Test phase. The Technician Supervisor engages the Technician team, clears roadblocks throughout the product lifecycle, troubleshoots assembly and test issues, and develops processes and procedures to aid in training and efficient throughput.
Duties And Responsibilities- Manage, lead, engage and develop Navy Technicians to ensure job satisfaction and career growth.
- Monitor and ensure that the area operates effectively and meets the organization’s goals and objectives aligned with the business purpose.
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure that information and data transfer effectively to meet customer needs and organizational objectives.
- Ensure safety of the employees and quality of the product throughout all processes.
Directly supervises employees working Navy programs in the Technician Department; carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, values, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; developing employees’ skills and encouraging growth; setting expectations and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; establishing positive employee relationships through fair, consistent, and respectful treatment of employees.
Continually work to improve supervisory skills.
To qualify for this position, an individual must possess the knowledge, training, experience and abilities required.
Education And Training- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline; or six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a complex assembly environment.
- Minimum of two years management experience.
- Minimum of three years’ experience with recognized quality systems (ISO, AS, QS, TS).
- Must be willing to work overtime as required.
- Travel up to 10% of working time.
- Secret security clearance.
To conform to U.S. Government commercial space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), 8 U.S.C.

Compensation And BenefitsThe hourly range for this role is $37.00 – $50.00. This range represents the anticipated minimum and maximum base for this position based upon a good faith and reasonable estimate. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the applicant’s qualifications (education, training and/or experience related to this role), and therefore, may fall outside the range shown, depending on the circumstances.
