Workstation Deployment Support Technician

Link Technologies (), a Las Vegas-based IT consulting firm, is currently seeking a Workstation Deployment Support Technician to join our team.

• In-depth practical knowledge of desktop hardware and software; handles the installation and removal of voice, video, and data systems, as well as related tasks.
• Adept at creating technical documentation and operational instructions.
• Experienced in training user groups to spot and avoid issues.
• Proficient in working with IT staff to create and update technical procedures and documentation.
• Capable of testing third-party software and software updates.
• Experienced in imaging desktop and laptop workstations.
• Set up, image, and configure new desktops and laptops following City IT standards.
• Provide both on-site and remote support to users during migration and deployment efforts.
• Suggest basic guidance and introductions to new equipment and software features.
• Sustain accurate deployment records, asset information, and issue-tracking documentation.
• Act as a bridge between user groups and the Information Technology team to relay issues and potential solutions.
