Duties
* As a Joint Training System Program Manager, for the NORAD and USNOTHCOM lessons learned and corrective action program, the incumbent is responsible for the development of Combatant Command- level policy, processes, and procedures for the programs of the two Commands.
* Establish, revise, and execute a comprehensive, organization-wide joint training and education program across the Commands' mission sets.
* Develop and manage the Commands' Joint Training Schedule.
* Administer the Leaming Management System (LMS) applications on NIPR, SIPR and NEN networks for personnel assigned to NORAD and USNORTHCOM Directorates, Special Staff, Subordinate Commands, Service Components and NORAD Regions. Requirements Conditions of employment

* In the performance of assigned duties, employee uses tact, diplomacy, and professionalism to promote effective working relationships with a variety of offices and agencies.
* This position is designated by the Air Force as a Test Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Testing Program.
* A mandatory requirement for employment in this TDP, the incumbent is to refrain from use of illegal drugs and if required, to submit to urinalysis testing.
* Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive position presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety. The selectee must sign a statement acknowledging the position occupied is identified as a TDP.
* This position has been designated as Special Sensitive. The employee is required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance as a condition of employment.
* Work may require short notice travel away from the normal duty station to locations within and outside of the Continental United States on military or commercial aircraft in accordance with Joint Travel Regulations in performance of temporary duty.
* In the performance of assigned duties, employees use tact, diplomacy, and professionalism to promote effective working relationships with a variety of offices and agencies. Qualifications Conditions of Employment continued:
* May be required to perform Battle Roster functions during Exercise and Real World events. Battle Roster functions may include, but are not limited to, Future Operations Center (FOC), Future Plans Center (FPC), Joint Logistics Operations Center (JLOC), N&NC Deployment and Distribution Operations Center (NDDOC), Joint Intelligence Operations Center-North (JIOC-N), Joint Cyber Center (JCC), and other tasks as assigned. These duties may require additional duty hours and/or alternate duty locations.
* Employee may be required to work non-traditional duty hours and/or be "on call" after normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends and holidays. Overtime may be required on short notice. Shift work may be necessary during exercises, crises, or contingencies.
