Unit: MS/Tele with PCU within department (no ICU in hospital; transfers out if needed) Beds/Ratios: 26 beds | 1:3–5

Experience:

3 years MS/Tele required; PCU/Stepdown preferred; LTAC a plus; first-time travelers accepted

Skills:

Drips (occasional titration), read tele strips (Mindray), invasive monitors; intubation management a plus Drips:
Insulin, amiodarone, levophed (multiple protocols) Certs: BLS, ACLS Support: RT in-house 24/7; CNAs 1:8; charge takes lighter assignment; travelers not charge Duties:
Med/Surg/PCU care, Accu Checks by RNs

Schedule:

7a–7p / 7p–7a; flexible scheduling expected; weekends every other; holidays per rotation Call/Floating:
No call; no RN floating (CNA may float to ED as sitter) Scrubs:
Navy blue Orientation: 1–2 days with preceptor EMR: CPSI Notes:
High-acuity care for a small hospital; working toward Level IV designation
