Monday - Friday only, 5 hours/day, 6:00 a.m.
- 8:30 a.m. / 2:00 p.m.

Range:
Salary placement at $18.58 hourly.

Description / Responsibilities- Attends and completes school bus driver training program.
- Drives district vehicle safely in accordance with time schedules; transports students to and from schools and related trips.
- Operates a two‑way radio and oversees loading/unloading of students at bus stops.
- Operates special ramp and handles wheelchairs safely, ensuring seatbelts are fastened.
- Performs daily pre‑trip inspection and reports maintenance needs.
- Supports daily bus maintenance (sweeping, washing windows).
- Monitors students with special health problems and administers first aid as needed.
- Maintains records: daily check‑out report, mileage, routing, maintenance, and time schedules.
- Attends meetings, trainings, and complies with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assists with other routes and in‑service duties as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Stand, sit, walk, stoop, twist, bend, reach, push, pull, lift up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 40 lbs).
- Stand and move throughout school grounds as needed.
- Concentrate on a single task up to 3 hours; meet deadlines; adapt to technology.
- Interact daily with staff and maintain confidentiality of student information.
- Maintain privacy of confidential information.
