+ Provides Supervision for LVN's, Nurse Interns, Nurse Aides, Ward Clerks/Monitor Techs.

+ Assesses patient/family/S.O. to identify patient care and educational needs within the time specified in hospital policy.

+ Assessment includes biophysical, psychosocial, self-care, educational and discharge planning needs.

+ Completes ongoing shift assessments on assigned patients in coordination with other team members.

+ Assesses patient condition at the time of discharge/interfacility transfer.

+ Completes discharge assessment including continuing care needs, referrals, and documentation of patient understanding.

** Job Requirements*
* Required

+ Graduate of an accredited RN program

+ Registered Nurse: CA RN License

+ Basic Life Support - CPR BLS

+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS

Preferred

+ Min one year experience acute care
