• Evaluate patients and participate in treatment program planning.
• Administer speech therapy modalities, procedures, and tests.
• Document accurate patient records and progress notes.
• Maintain appropriate oral or written contact with referring physicians and co-workers.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment by monitoring unsafe conditions and malfunctioning equipment.
• Participate in departmental functions and activities as required, including in-service education, clerical tasks, and other related duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

• New graduates considered on an individual basis.
• Licensed, or eligible for licensure, by the State of California Board of Medical Quality Assurance.
• CPR certification.
• Professional liability insurance, annual PPD, and Physical Exam proof.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and accurately; good interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of principles, techniques, and procedures within scope of practice as a Speech Therapist.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently.
• Ability to work in a team environment, collaborating with other patient‑care team members, physicians, and patients and families.
• Teaching skills for techniques and procedures of speech therapy to patients and caregivers.
• Work with minimal supervision.

• Two years professional experience preferred; working with adult and child language and speech disorders and swallowing preferred.
• New graduates considered on an individual basis.
