Position Summary...

What you'll do
  • Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates; touring stores and providing feedback; communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
  • Introduce and lead company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model; manage and support customer service initiatives such as store community engagement and outreach programs; resolve customer needs and issues; develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies; provide process improvement leadership for a high-quality customer experience.
  • Drive financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing P&L statements, assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses; monitor and ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes; develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, recognizing associates, and promoting a belonging mindset; recruit and develop qualified associates to meet staffing needs and growth potential.
  • Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments by developing relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, communicating goals, building accountability, and measuring progress toward results.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support the company mission, values, ethics, and integrity by implementing related action plans and applying the Open Door Policy in business processes and practices.
  • Respect the individual by building high-performing teams, embracing differences, creating a workplace where associates feel seen and connected, and fostering a culture of belonging; create opportunities for all associates to thrive and perform.

Compensation and Benefits Details

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 – $80,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Some positions may include: regional pay zone (RPZ) based on location; complex structure based on external factors. State pay differential may apply where required by law.
