The Warehouse/Aerospace Paint Mixer will mix and blend paint according to specified formulas and should be very organized, efficient, and experienced in fulfilling the logistics behind receiving, processing, and storing inventory according to incoming product and order processing.
Essential Duties- Abide by all company safety regulations
- Process purchase order by preparing, labeling and shipping product
- Mixing and blending colors to specific formulas for Aerospace coatings; i.e. base coat, topcoats etc.
- Perform paint mixing and/or shading with utmost care to ensure minimum mis‑tints.
- Maintain Color Room records including non‑conformance report, tint usage, can usage, mis‑tints, etc. and perform necessary inventory transfers
- Staging customer orders for shipment
- Must be licensed to operate vehicle in accordance with state and federal law
- Must have acceptable driving record from DMV/MTO
- Receive, unload and stock incoming inventory items appropriately
- Organizing stock and maintaining inventory
- Maintaining equipment and warehouse space
- Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
- Other tasks as assigned
- Ability to mix paint and accurately color match
- Proven warehouse experience
- Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment
- Team player with organizational skills
- Ability to lift or move heavy product

- Attend various manufacturer training seminars and/or training schools. Seminars may be conducted after normal business hours. Training schools may require overnight travel up to five (5) days
Physical abilities will include walking and standing on concrete/hard surfaces for a minimum of 2.5 hours to 8 hours at a time, ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds regularly and 75‑100 pounds occasionally, able to reach, twist, bend, kneel, climb a ladder while carrying product. Ability to perceive color differences and wear safety equipment as required. Must be able to tolerate non‑toxic paint odors.
May require the ability to drive a forklift and/or order picker.
