Electrical Engineer; Mid-Level

designing, developing, testing, and overseeing the manufacture and installation of electrical equipment, components, and systems that support dod communication networks and related mission critical platforms
• applying electrical engineering theory and best practice design methods to create solutions for commercial, industrial, military, and scientific applications
• collaborating with system architects, program managers, and field technicians to ensure that all deliverables meet performance, reliability, and compliance requirements while adhering to dod specifications and safety standards

• bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related engineering discipline (no degree substitutions permitted for this level)
• active dod top secret (or higher) clearance
• minimum three years of fulltime professional engineering experience, including at least oneyear directly performing design, development, testing, or supervision of electrical systems for dod communication networks or related infrastructure
• possession of a pe (professional engineer) license is preferred but not mandatory; any relevant industry certifications (e.g., iec, ieee, or dodspecific training) are a plus
• ability to independently execute the full engineering lifecycle (concept, design, prototype, test, and field installation) for electrical hardware used in defense communication environments

• strong knowledge of power electronics, signal integrity, electromagnetic compatibility (emc), and high frequency circuit design
• experience with industry design tools (e.g., altium designer, mentor graphics, cadence, or similar pcb/eda software)
• familiarity with dod engineering standards and specifications (milstd
  810, milstd
  461, etc.) and ability to produce required documentation (drawings, test plans, test reports)
• handson testing expertise using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and environmental test chambers
• proven ability to coordinate with manufacturing partners and oversee production runs, ensuring quality control and conformance to design intent
• effective written and oral communication skills for drafting technical reports, presenting design reviews, and interfacing with program stakeholders
• ability to work autonomously while collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
• knowledge of project management fundamentals (schedule tracking, risk identification) is advantageous
