Adult Basic Education​/GED Instructor

Position Summary

The Adult Basic Education/GED® instructor is responsible for providing multi-level class instruction to adult learners in Social Studies, Science, Math and Language Arts to improve basic skills and/or prepare for a GED® credential.

• implementing digital literacy-based lesson plans, differentiating instruction, and using technology for both in‑person and online instruction (via Zoom)
• maintaining all required student records, completing all reporting requirements, and attending required professional development activities

• Bachelor’s degree
• Classroom teaching experience with a minimum of 1‑year experience teaching Adult Basic Education or GED required
• Ability to teach all subject areas using differentiated instruction
• Experience incorporating technology to deliver instruction
