Position Summary
The Adult Basic Education/GED® instructor is responsible for providing multi-level class instruction to adult learners in Social Studies, Science, Math and Language Arts to improve basic skills and/or prepare for a GED® credential.

- implementing digital literacy-based lesson plans, differentiating instruction, and using technology for both in‑person and online instruction (via Zoom)
- maintaining all required student records, completing all reporting requirements, and attending required professional development activities
- Bachelor’s degree
- Classroom teaching experience with a minimum of 1‑year experience teaching Adult Basic Education or GED required
- Ability to teach all subject areas using differentiated instruction
- Experience incorporating technology to deliver instruction
