The below job description will outline this position of Pipe fitter Typically, this person will be a skilled operative responsible for the fabrication, assembly and/or installation of ship components, dependent on their trade discipline.

The role is critical in delivering high-quality products while maintaining strict safety, quality, and delivery standards. HSB Technicals client is a very established and well-regarded business entity. Duties and responsibilities of the Pipe Fitter:
Comply fully with all Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) regulations and procedures Achieve team and project targets within agreed timescales Produce work to the required quality standards and specifications Assist supervisors with shop-floor and operational issues Ensure job completion dates are consistently met Qualifications and requirements for the Pipe Fitter:
Strong understanding of fabrication and installation drawings Clear awareness of SHE risks, quality standards, and work tolerances Good knowledge of the relevant trade discipline Excellent hand skills for fabrication and assembly tasks Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with good verbal communication skills Reliable and professional approach to work Time-served apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds/ Scottish Higher) Safety certifications such as SHE induction, COSHH awareness, Working at Height, or equivalent This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical, who have been appointed to act as the recruitment consultancy for this role.
