Senior Machine Maintenance Mechanic – Arlington, WA

We are currently looking for a Senior Machine Maintenance Mechanic to join the growing team at Newell Corporation, where precision, innovation, and craftsmanship come together to build something great.

What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Machine Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for keeping various pieces of manufacturing equipment running as well as performing scheduled machine maintenance and accuracy checks.

You will:

• Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot machinery and perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Read, interpret, and follow instructions and operation manuals.
• Maintain a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery.
• Clean, repair, and install equipment and parts.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Promote a culture of safety, collaboration and continuous improvement.

What you bring:

• 8+ years of experience performing maintenance on CNC mills and lathes.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs, robotics, drives, motion controls, and safety sensors.
• Strong ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and ladder/function block logic.
• Familiarity with machine leveling, geometry checks, and accuracy compensation.
• Experience using software such as Microsoft Office and CMMS tools.

Physical Demands:

Lifting or moving objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Pushing, pulling, and bending. Standing and/or walking for 8 or more hours per day.
