We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing heavy civil construction and utility systems contractor in the Pacific Northwest. Known for quality work, integrity, and long‑term relationships, this firm delivers critical infrastructure projects across communities from north of Seattle to Blaine.

The OpportunityAs a Senior Project Manager, you’ll lead heavy civil projects from preconstruction through closeout. You’ll partner closely with estimators, superintendents, field crews, and agency representatives to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably.
This is more than task management. You’ll:
- Take ownership of complex public works and utility projects

What You’ll Be Doing- Lead full‑cycle project delivery for heavy civil and public works projects
- Manage schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal field teams

- Oversee change management, progress billings, and project reporting
- Ensure compliance with WSDOT and local agency standards
- Work closely with superintendents on work sequencing and logistics
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, inspectors, and agencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of heavy civil construction experience, including public works in Washington State
- Strong knowledge of WSDOT Standard Specifications and local jurisdiction requirements
- Experience managing earthwork, utilities, roadway, and concrete scopes
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Clear communicator with a collaborative, solutions‑driven mindset
- Primarily office‑based with regular coordination with field teams
- Local project sites across the greater Puget Sound region
- Limited overnight travel
- $135,000 – $175,000 base salary, depending on experience
