Prime Response Inc. (PRI) is seeking full-time CDL A Truck Driver and Loading Dock Specialist fora long-term government contract located mainly in Arlington, VA and sometimes in Landover, MD. Main driving duties will include the handling of secure mail and property and cover Alexandria, VA, Washington County, MD, and the National Capitol Region.
· Receiving, inspecting, delivering,and loading and unloading trucks
· Understands warehousing processes and systems
· Understands inventory management systems
· Experience with furniture moving
· Ability to use acomputer
· Ability to work independently
· Highly dependable and punctual
· Furniture moves andrelocations
· Transporting bulk items
· Operating the Warehouse Management System
Requirements· Class A CDL and current medical card required.
· Must be capable of passing a background check and drug test.
· Experience with Government contracts is preferred.
· Musthave knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
· Must beable to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
· Must becapable of standing, bending, and walking for the majority of a workday.
· Abilityto lift and carrying moderately heavy material (up to 50 lbs).
