Sage Maker Unified Studio (project Max Dome) is an AI-assisted unified development environment, designed to provide an integrated experience for customers using AWS Analytics and ML services without regard for service boundaries. It targets Data Engineers, Data Scientists, SQL Analysts and IT Administrators with persona driven experiences.

• Lead and grow a software development team responsible for rethinking traditional data warehousing, analytics, and database architectures

• Manage the design, implementation, test, and deployment of software

• Conceive innovative new solutions for our customers, at the intersection of multiple fields:
  Big Data, analytics, warehousing, and machine learning.

• Mentor senior engineers and managers, provide leadership on complex technical issues, design tradeoffs, and feature and schedule prioritization

• Work with senior executives to develop business targets and resource requirements, and influence our technical and business strategy

• Help hire talented engineers and managers

• Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture, design and extensible code

• Be an advocate of industry best-practices to produce reliable, fault-torrent and dependable code

• Code and test complex system modules; develop and leverage frameworks to be effective and efficient

• Participate in architecture, design and code reviews to maintain our high development standards

• Own system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance

• Collaborate and influence other teams to deliver and operate large scale, distributed services in the cloud

• Mentor other engineers, defining our challenging technical culture, and helping to build a fast-growing team
