Amazon Leo's Enterprise Engineering team is looking to hire a Software Development engineer. This is a fast-paced, intellectually challenging position, and will work with leaders in multiple technology areas. Keyjob responsibilities
Work with Export and Amazon Leo Security to deliver IAM requirements
Build and deliver user, device, and service Identities for Amazon Leo's business operations
Develop secure services utilizing x509 Certificates for Digital Signatures and Encryption
Develop cloud native software systems in Go
Develop client/server software systems in Go
Utilize AWS and other Amazon technologies to build highly-available software services.
Design and develop performant systems that meet the mission criteria and requirements.
Help on-board and mentor new team members.
Take ownership of the full software development lifecycle, including scoping, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance while demonstrating operational excellence in all work
Actively participate in the code review process by providing meaningful feedback to team members and collaborating on technical designs
Identify and resolve root causes of operational issues, continually looking for opportunities to improve the system's performance, scalability, and reliability
Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions, balancing customer needs with architectural considerations
Your day typically begins with a team standup where you align on priorities and discuss any blockers. Following this, you'll spend time working through design documents to plan new features or system improvements, then transition to coding these solutions. You may collaborate with team members on technical challenges that arise, especially around the unique client-side components. Some days include on-call responsibilities or handling unexpected issues that require quick resolution—keeping your work dynamic and engaging.

BasicQualifications
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
3+ years of full stack development experience
Knowledge of system performance, memory management, and parallel computing principles
