Senior Frontend UI​/UX Engineer

Zetier is seeking a Senior Frontend UI/UX Engineer to develop intuitive, secure, and visually engaging interfaces across our product lines including customer-facing applications and internal mission-support tools. Candidates should be equally comfortable implementing complex frontend logic and collaborating on design to deliver fast, modern, and standards‑compliant web interfaces supporting advanced cybersecurity and defense initiatives.

Position available in Arlington, VA (hybrid friendly).

• Extensive experience (6+ years) low‑level programming (e.g. C/C++)
• 5+ years experience building production web applications
• Proficiency with modern frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue)
• Strong Type Script and JavaScript development skills
• Experience integrating with backend services (FastAPI, REST)
• Familiar with responsive design frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap, Material)
• Experience implementing secure coding practices and access control
• Ability to translate UX wireframes into production interfaces
• Effective collaboration with backend engineers and program teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Active U.S. security clearance

• Proficiency with Figma or similar design/prototyping tools
• Experience with backend frameworks (FastAPI, REST, ZeroMQ)
• Experience with CI/CD workflows for frontend applications
• Familiarity with DoD or compliance‑sensitive environments
• Development on embedded platforms (uBoot, drone firmware, IOT)
• Reverse engineering experience (gdb, Binary Ninja, IDA Pro)
• Understanding of accessibility and usability principles
• Developed software on mobile platforms (Android, iOS)
• Successfully led small cross‑domain development teams
