Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced Engineer to join a fast-growing technology firm working on cutting-edge development. The Engineer will be working in a dynamic team environment building reusable SaaS components to ingest various types of data into a cloud environment using ETL tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• 5+ years of related software development experience.

• 3+ years’ experience with implementation of large enterprise systems or distributed computing environment.

• 7+ years in Java; C# is a plus but not required.

• Proficiency in Java, Spring, JPA, and Hibernate.

• Proficiency in RDBMS including SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle.

• Proven track record of designing scalable, distributed software applications.

• Object-oriented design and programming experience.

• Proficiency in ETL development using tools such as Pentaho.

• Experience in solving big-data problems using open source technologies such as Hadoop and HBase on a cloud platform.

• Experience using COTS products to integrate systems at an enterprise level.

• Familiarity with UI front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience in building business workflows using Business Process Management tools such as Activiti, jbpm, and Alfresco.

Security Clearance: Prefer candidates possess a Department of Defense SECRET security clearance. Applicants will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
