Security Officer - Clearance Required Patrol in Arlington, VA
. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you may build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor assigned areas, complete routine rounds, remain highly visible, document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and provide strong customer service.

Pay Rate: $25.12 / Hour

Saturday: 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Sunday: 04:00 PM – 12:00 AM

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and/or visitors following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification and/or authorization, directing visitors, and maintaining visitor and vehicle logs per site policy.
• Prepare clear written reports of daily activities, patrol observations, and incidents, and communicate key information during shift handoff.

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
