SAIC is seeking an experienced Senior SAP Security Analyst to provide comprehensive security support services for the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering (OUSW(R&E)) Special Access Program Central Office (SAPCO). The role requires expertise across all security disciplines, including personnel, industrial, physical, and information security, with a strong emphasis on managing multi-discipline security programs for Department of War (DoW) Special Access Programs (SAPs).
This position is full-time, on-site at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.
- Assess eligibility for SAP access
- Prepare and manage nomination packages, waivers, and Letters of Compelling Need (LOCNs)
- Maintain and track SAP access suitability in databases and manage access reporting
- Ensure security compliance of contractors on SAP contracts
- Review and approve contractor facility accreditations
- Determine security requirements for sensitive tests and activities
- Prepare and assess SAP facility accreditation packages
- Manage facility folders, create facility SOPs, MOAs/CUAs, and facility close‑out packages
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies for security threats
- Oversee classification management, including Top Secret accountability and media control
- Write Security Classification Guides (SCGs) and other relevant security policies
- Handle technology transfers, foreign disclosures, and provide security training
- Investigate security incidents and provide appropriate solutions
- Perform site inspections, accredit SCIF/SAPF spaces, and manage document control
- Conduct security training, indoctrinations, and debriefings
- Assist in preparing briefings for senior leadership and maintaining security-focused SharePoint folders
- Enforce and interpret security policies and create SOPs
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution and 10 years of experience; OR
- Master's degree and 8 years of experience. Specialized experience (including military experience) will be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant SAP security experience, including 5 years managing multi‑discipline security programs for DoW acquisition SAPs
- Expertise in personnel, industrial, physical, and information security
- Experience in managing multiple, concurrent projects with high‑quality results
- The last SAP security‑related position must have been held within the last 9 months
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Excel
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work in tandem with program and policy teams to stay up to date on NISPOM and DODDM policies
- Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) certification from the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) preferred
- Experience in a headquarters‑level organization is preferred
