Requirements- TS/SCI clearance
- 5 years of experience in security management, program protection, or related fields, particularly within government or defense sectors.
- Recent experience supporting DoD office environments.
- Experience with DoD and IC security directives (DoDM 5205.01, ICD 705).
- Experience with Communications Security (COMSEC) procedures.
- Required knowledge of SAP, SCI, and physical security standards.
- Strong technical writing skills for producing formal security correspondence and documentation.
- Ability to support training and awareness initiatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge utilizing Microsoft 365, MS Office, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in security management, information security, or a related field. Relevant certifications.
Support the Defense Continuity Integrated Network (DCIN) Program by delivering comprehensive physical, technical, and administrative security services. This role involves evaluating and accrediting government and contractor facilities handling classified information, developing security documentation, conducting inspections and staff assistance visits, and supporting compliance with Department of Defense (DoD), Special Access Programs (SAP), Sensitive Compartmentalized Information, and Intelligence Community (IC) Directives.
Evaluate government and industrial facility plans for physical security accreditation. Prepare correspondence for submission to higher authorities identifying discrepancies or approving/accrediting the facility. Draft all security documentation to include standard operating procedures, memorandums for government approval and signature, inspection checklists, and any required by DoD, SCI, SAP, and TEMPEST requirements.
Assist the government in conducting security reviews and staff assistance visits at government and industry locations, applying regulatory directives to ensure the location being reviewed complies. Develop and deliver a comprehensive security education and awareness program in accordance with DoD manuals, and administer security review programs, establish schedules, track findings, and monitor follow-up reports.
Maintain distribution lists of all program locations, disseminate correspondence and directives, assist DISA PSO in daily administration of satellite facilities, provide general support to the security program, assist with security incidents’ administrative documentation, and perform additional tasks as directed by the Program Manager.
