Role Overview

As a Sales Executive for CoStar for Lenders, you will play a key role in expanding our strategic relationships with both existing clients and high‑potential prospects. You’ll join a market leader in CRE technology, helping lenders make smarter decisions with powerful data and insights. Key Responsibilities
  • New Business Development
    :
    Identify and close new sales opportunities by demonstrating the value of our SaaS, data, and information services tailored specifically for commercial real‑estate lenders and financial institutions.
  • Client Relationship Management
    :
    Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with CRE lending clients, ensuring exceptional service and identifying opportunities for expansion.
  • Territory Engagement
    :
    Travel within your assigned region to meet with clients and prospects face‑to‑face, fostering trust, delivering product value, and strengthening partnerships.
  • Strategic Collaboration
    :
    Work closely with internal stakeholders and local field sales teams to align on client goals, ensuring seamless execution and maximizing client satisfaction.
  • Market Expertise
    :
    Develop deep knowledge of CoStar for Lender’s industry‑leading solutions and the commercial real‑estate lending space to position yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Sales Execution
    :
    Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and demos to closing, onboarding, training, and renewals—driving growth and exceeding revenue targets.
Basic Qualifications
  • 4‑8 years of solution selling experience, with success in owning the full‑sales cycle from prospect to close.
  • History of success in selling SaaS solutions to banks and financial institutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited, not‑for‑profit, in‑person college/university.
  • A track record of commitment and success with prior employers.
  • Willing and able to travel to client and prospect locations on a regular basis.
  • Experienced with complex sales processes.
  • Comfortable with diagnostic selling and committed to delivering solutions to our clients and prospects.
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Possess a current and valid driver’s license.
  • Satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Our Ideal Candidate is well‑versed in their technical skillset, risk concepts and selling into target companies’ HQs.
  • Is a well‑rounded, versatile sales professional with experience with real‑estate and fluency selling data and SaaS solutions.
