We are seeking a highly motivated, client‑focused Director of Client Development to join our North America team. This role is ideal for a true hunter—someone energized by identifying, pursuing, and cultivating new client relationships, while collaborating closely with our consulting teams to shape tailored solutions for leading pharma and med tech firms.
You will report directly to the Head of Client Development and focus on growing our U.S. business, with global exposure and collaboration across our markets.

- Drive new business development through your existing client‑side relationships – clients, former clients with whom you have worked or know personally.
- Develop new client relationships through strategically smart and focused outreach to new prospects and follow‑up with the appropriate intervals with relevant information to stimulate a conversation.
- Build organizational maps at targeted accounts to identify decision makers. Prepare account plans identifying penetration approach and tactics.
- Leverage Hub Spot to log and track all client and prospect interactions, ensuring seamless communication, timely follow‑up, and a personalized experience that strengthens relationships and drives faster, more informed sales outcomes.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities within pharma and med tech manufacturing companies.
- Conduct high‑quality, client‑facing conversations to understand needs and articulate the value of Viscadia’s services.
- Partner with Viscadia consultants who will develop proposals, ensuring smooth handoff and collaboration through the sales cycle.
- Develop relationships across client organizations, leveraging both your own network and proactive outreach.
- Ability to represent Viscadia at conferences and trade shows showing a friendly, bright, and engaging personality.
- Travel 20–30% for meetings with prospects and clients, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- At least 5 years of primary business development experience, with a proven track record of generating at least $1MM in new revenue each year.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets, with the confidence to articulate the strategies and actions that drove results.
