The Sr Mgr. Materials works with the maintenance team, focusing on parts ordering and inventory. This role will work to maintain efficiency in the repair shop by ordering vehicle parts and ensuring they correspond with the correct work orders as well as tracking all related expenses.

• The ideal candidate will sit at a major airport location within one of the following zones:
  Northeast, Mid Atlantic, North Central, Midwest

Starting salary is $70K; commensurate with experience.

• Responsible for ordering vehicle parts and supplies to maintain repair shop workflow
• Manages maintenance inventory, including ensuring that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location
• Responsible for tracking all expenses related to vehicle parts and submitting the necessary expense reports for approval
• Tracks shop repair orders and out of stock part numbers, including issuing parts/tires to corresponding work orders
• Establishes relationships with vendors/suppliers including negotiating contracts
• Responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and organized parts department
• Assist Maintenance Supervisors as needed with managing the technicians

• 5 years’ experience in Materials, Parts, and inventory Management
• Bachelors degree in business, finance, supply chain preferred
• Expert proficiency Excel, Tableau, and O365
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and locations
