Texas Oncology is looking for a Nurse Supervisor (RN) to join our team. The position will support the Arlington Cancer Center in North Arlington, TX. It is a full‑time Monday‑Friday role with no weekends, on‑call, or major holidays.

What does the Nurse Supervisor do?Coordinates all activities related to nursing functions and patient care within budgetary constraints. Adheres to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations. Supervises nursing staff that provides professional nursing care to patients. Recognizes physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects of care. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Responsibilities- Clinical Oversight:
Oversee the clinical operations for all nursing clinical support activities. - Ensure adequate staffing/FTEs for assigned clinics.
- Maintain effective nursing staff coverage and operating costs within budgeting parameters.
- Ensure clinical operations and practice are consistent with organizational objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate patient satisfaction and quality assurance measures.
- Staff Development:
Coordinate, implement, and assist with staff training, in‑services, and internal developmental programs for nursing staff. - Assist with annual performance evaluations for nursing department staff.
- Serve as mentor/preceptor and provide day‑to‑day guidance to less experienced nurses.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN or MSN preferred.
- Registered Nurse state license and current registration with the state board of nursing in the practicing state.
- Minimum 5 years actively practicing as a registered nurse, including at least 3 years in oncology.
- 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Current or pending oncology certification preferred.

Physical RequirementsA large percent of time performing computer‑based work is required. Duties include handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, standing and walking for extensive periods. Occasionally lifts and carries items up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
