ICU Registered Nurse – Travel Assignment (Night Shift)
Unit 6500 – 19:00–07:00
OverviewA high‑acuity ICU is seeking an experienced travel RN for a 13‑week night‑shift assignment. This role requires strong critical‑care skills, prior travel experience, and the flexibility to float to other specialty units as needed. Start date is ASAP and depends on EPIC training availability.
Assignment Details- Shift: 3×12‑hour nights, 19:00–07:00
- Option for 4×12s (overtime begins after 48 hours per week)
- Every other weekend required
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP, based on EPIC training schedule
- Active VA or Compact RN license in hand at submission
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Must have completed at least one previous travel assignment
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Must be willing to float to CVICU, CVSD, and Cardiac Tele as needed
- Clin Doc Accelerated (for RNs with 6+ months of EPIC experience in the last 12 months)
- Includes ~4 hours of modules
- Clin Doc 2‑Day (for RNs with less than 6 months of EPIC experience)
- No modules required
- COVID: Possible exposure
- Flu Vaccine: Required during flu season (Oct 1–Mar 31)
- Religious/medical exemptions must meet CMS guidelines
- Floating: Required across designated units
- Night Shift: 19:00–07:00
