Responsibilities

Empower AI: As the Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee and coordinate the administration of the imaging of IT equipment, and the receipt and disposal of other physical assets at all locations supporting organizational staff members within the DISA J6 user community. You will interact daily with the customer to ensure productivity and provide resolution to property and IT configuration management issues.

You will oversee a team of up to 20 personnel. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting Empower AI’s mission:
To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments.

Highlights of Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight and leadership to a team of up to 20 logistical and technical personnel
  • Monitor incidents and tasks in government approved IT Management System to ensure timely delivery of services and compliance with contract AQLs.
  • Prepare briefings and speak to incidents and tasks that may be designated as aging per contract AQLs.
  • Oversee imaging efforts to ensure sufficient bench stock levels of imaged equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with system quality checks to ensure consistency in delivery of imaged computers.
  • Execute an auditing program over all contract affiliated asset accounts to ensure accurate reporting and account health. Advise leadership of risks and issues identified via auditing program.
  • Monitor and manage the accountable and consumable equipment inventories to ensure accurate record keeping and escalation of potential risks.
  • Ensure the load balancing of inventory levels across multiple geographic locations to maximize efficiency and delivery of services.
  • Oversee and manage the processing and transfer of equipment for disposition.
  • Ensure efficient utilization and maintain tidiness of equipment storage spaces.
  • Track and project future equipment needs and provide recommendations on bulk and long term procurement actions.
  • Mange and execute annual inventory reconciliations for all contract affiliated asset accounts.
  • Track down and resolve all inventory discrepancies to ensure accountability and accurate record keeping.
  • Prepares all reports, including final inventory or periodic status reports for higher authority
  • Acts as the Subject Matter Expert on the government property requirements
  • Updates and adjusts policy and procedures based on FAR requirement changes
  • Communicates, educates and trains employees on the company’s policies and procedures of company and government asset management
  • Provides briefings to senior leaders, agency directors, and facility and financial program teams
  • Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • US Department of Defense (DOD) issued Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience
  • A minimum of six (6) years general experience in a business environment with accounting, distribution, manufacturing, supply or government operation
  • A minimum of four (4) years experience in managing government property
  • 6 - 9 years of experience
