Job Overview
This position will perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning and waxing floors, shampooing rugs, maintaining linoleum flooring, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of the need for repairs, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk.

Reports to: Project Manager
Salary: $20.15 - $21.15 per hour
- Stripping and waxing, and carpet cleaning
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming using a backpack vacuum
- Gather and empty trash
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
- Complete any miscellaneous cleaning requests per management or the customer
- Adhere to all safety procedures and use proper PPE
- Complete understanding of Six Mile training materials
- Acknowledge the Job Hazard Analysis
- Perform incidental tasks related to the position and various duties as assigned to support the overall objectives/goals of the team while maintaining a positive attitude
- High School diploma or GED
- Prior floor stripping and waxing experience required
- Knowledge and usage of strip and wax or floor buffing machine equipment, or knowledge and usage of carpet extraction equipment
- Ability to carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push, pull, stoop, bend, or stand for long periods of time
- Must pass a background and drug screening

Physical DemandsLifting & Carrying:
The position requires routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds. Employees must maintain constant mental alertness at all times.
Employees will need to move around to attend meetings, access shared resources, and collaborate with team members.
