Job Summary

DT Professional Services is seeking an experienced Senior Logistics Analyst to join our team in Arlington, VA. This role will deliver high‑level logistics management expertise in support of enterprise IT and digital transformation initiatives for the Department of the Navy, ensuring seamless integration of logistics strategies throughout the system lifecycle and providing thought leadership in acquisition, sustainment, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the senior logistics subject matter expert supporting program management offices, including Naval Enterprise Networks (NEN), Special Networks/Intelligence Mission Applications (SNIMA), Commercial Cloud Services, and the Marine Corps Supporting Establishment Systems.
  • Lead review, analysis, and implementation of logistics policies, regulations, and directives for acquisition and sustainment support.
  • Prepare and update logistics documentation in accordance with DoD and Navy instructions, including Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), Capability Support Plans, and Business Case Analyses.
  • Oversee logistics program administration, maintain logistics schedules, and support all major logistics meetings and briefings.
  • Develop impact statements, reports, and technical guidance for logistics engineering, installation, asset management, maintenance, and training.
  • Conduct Independent Logistics Assessments and support Quality Assurance reviews for hardware and software sustainment.
  • Support Configuration, Data, and Asset Management; provide guidance on DMSMS, obsolescence, provisioning, and support equipment.
  • Advise and support Organizational Change Management and process improvements aligned with PEO Digital strategic objectives.
  • Apply and support Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Dev Sec Ops  principles within logistics domains.
  • Lead or participate in advisory boards, technical working groups, and stakeholder forums to assess logistics requirements and process improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare and maintain data‑driven logistics documentation and deliverables, including data collection, analysis, and visualization using appropriate tools.
  • Mentor and train junior staff on best practices and compliance obligations.
  • Ensure all work products and processes align with DoD and Navy directives (e.g., DoD 5000 series, SECNAV, SPAWAR/NAVWAR regulations), and ITIL‑based IT Service Management.
  • Maintain awareness and integration of emerging logistics policy changes and industry best practices.
Minimum Requirements
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
  • Masters Degree or higher in a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years hands‑on experience directing, implementing, and managing large‑scale logistics programs, including integrated life cycle support, within the Department of Defense or similar federal environments.
  • BOTH of the following certifications are

    REQUIRED:
    • DAWIA Level III in Life Cycle Logistics (or equivalent certification or documented comparable military experience).
    • ITIL Foundations v3 or v4 certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of DoD acquisition logistics, supportability analysis, and product support planning for IT systems and digital transformation programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to author and review complex acquisition logistics documents and present technical briefings to senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills; proficiency in interpreting and implementing enterprise‑level and program‑level policy.
  • Experience supporting digital and cloud transformation initiatives, including sustainment planning for evolving digital services/environments.
  • Proficient in the use of MBSE and logistics data analytics tools and methodologies.
  • Commitment to teamwork, mentoring, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
