All-Source Intelligence Analyst Nation State Threat Center Intelligence Support ServicesPosition Overview
The All-Source Intelligence Analyst provides integrated intelligence support to the Nation State Threat Center (NSTC) with a primary focus on homeland security, domestic threat analysis, and protection of U.S. critical infrastructure. The analyst fuses multi-source intelligence to assess nation-state threats impacting the U.S. homeland, including cyber operations, foreign influence, transnational activity, critical infrastructure vulnerabilities, border security concerns, and emerging asymmetric threats.
The analyst produces timely, accurate, and actionable intelligence products to support operational planning, interagency coordination, and senior decision‑making related to homeland defense and domestic resilience.
Key Responsibilities- Multi-INT Integration & Analysis
- Fuse intelligence derived from GEOINT, SIGINT, HUMINT, MASINT, OSINT, law enforcement reporting, and cyber sources.
- Assess nation‑state and foreign‑sponsored threats to:
- U.S. critical infrastructure (energy, transportation, communications, financial systems)
- Cyber networks and data systems
- Border and maritime security
- Public safety and emergency response systems
- Identify indicators of foreign malign influence, cyber intrusion, disinformation campaigns, and infrastructure targeting.
- Develop analytic judgments using structured analytic techniques and clearly articulate confidence levels and intelligence gaps.
- Homeland Security Intelligence Production
- Produce:
- Homeland threat assessments
- Infrastructure vulnerability analyses
- Cyber threat summaries
- Situational awareness reports
- Executive briefings and decision‑support materials
- Support development of homeland defense plans and contingency response frameworks.
- Ensure analytic products align with standards established by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
- Produce:
- Interagency & Domestic Coordination
- Provide analytic support to homeland security stakeholders, including:
- U.S. Department of Homeland Security
- Federal Bureau of Investigation
- Federal Emergency Management Agency
- State, local, tribal, and territorial (SLTT) partners
- Participate in interagency working groups, intelligence exchanges, and homeland security exercises.
- Support real‑time crisis response during natural disasters, cyber incidents, or domestic threat events.
- Provide analytic support to homeland security stakeholders, including:
- Research, Indicators & Warning
- Develop and maintain homeland threat indicators and warning frameworks.
- Track foreign state activities targeting U.S.
-based assets. - Identify patterns and trends in cyber intrusion activity, infrastructure reconnaissance, and influence operations.
- Recommend collection requirements to address intelligence gaps.
- Quality Control & Tradecraft
- Apply Intelligence Community analytic standards and structured methodologies.
- Maintain sourcing integrity and objectivity in all products.
- Participate in peer review and product validation processes.
- Ensure compliance with classification handling, privacy, and civil liberties protections.
- Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, Homeland Security, Political Science, Cybersecurity, Emergency Management, or related field.
- 3-10 years of intelligence analysis experience (level dependent).
- Experience integrating multi‑source intelligence in a homeland security or domestic threat environment.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI required).
