Systems Engineer, Cybersecurity
Akkodis, Inc. is seeking an OT Network Architect for a 1-2 year role with a global industry leader near Arlington, VA. The Network Architect will define enterprise-wide OT network strategy and reference architectures for BESS platforms, and act as the final technical authority for OT networking, cybersecurity integration, and standardization across regions and projects. Qualifications include 10+ years of networking experience which includes architecture, OT, and security.
Salary Range: $95-125 per hour; salary negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors

OT Network ArchitectJob Responsibilities
- Own global OT network architecture for BESS platforms
- Define reference architectures, standards, and design frameworks
- Architect secure OT/IT integration models aligned to IEC 62443
- Lead Zero Trust adoption for OT environments (ZPA/ZIA, Cisco ZTA)
- Drive architecture for multi-site, multi-region deployments
- Define resiliency, redundancy, and failover strategies
- Review and approve all OT network designs and deviations
- Lead architecture reviews with Product, Cybersecurity, and Compliance
- Influence vendor selection, technology standards, and long-term roadmaps
- Mentor Senior Architects and Engineers
- Represent OT network architecture in customer, regulator, and executive discussions
- 10–15 years of experience in networking, which includes 2+ years of network architecture and design within OT/industrial environments
- Expertise in Industrial OT network architecture and Firewall and Zero Trust design for OT
- BGP, OSPF, VRF, and advanced segmentation skills
- Experience in Cisco ASA / FTD / FMC / ISE at scale and Secure OT-to-cloud connectivity (AWS)
- Knowledge of IEC 62443, NIST, and critical infrastructure security models
- Plusses include CCIE (Enterprise or Security) or IEC 62443 Lead Implementer / OT Security certifications

Pay Details$95.00 to $125.00 per hour
