Agile Coach

• Serve as the senior SAFe authority responsible for transformation activities across all OIP Agile teams
• Establish, refine, and operationalize Agile processes including ceremonies, PI cadence, backlog standards, WSJF prioritization, flow management, and value delivery governance
• Create and enforce minimum expectations for Agile team operations, including Jira and Jira Align configuration and synchronization with Lean Portfolio Management
• Lead the end to end Epic development process, translating strategic needs, problem statements, and stakeholder insights into actionable, value driven Epics
• Ensure Epics are assessed for impact, feasibility, dependencies, and alignment with program objectives
• Oversee iteration based planning and execution, including capacity allocation, flow efficiency, risk identification, mitigation, tracking, and reporting
• Provide execution oversight to ensure sprint outcomes, adherence to SAFe practices, and synchronization across value streams
• Identify, escalate, and resolve impediments at the lowest possible level in coordination with leadership
• Facilitate or oversee iteration retrospectives focused on performance, flow efficiency, and alignment with SAFe expectations
• Establish continuous improvement mechanisms to strengthen Agile maturity, delivery discipline, and sprint predictability
• Lead and direct configuration, optimization, and governance of Agile tooling including Jira, Jira Align, and MS Teams

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Partner with domain specific subject matter experts to plan and deliver health informatics solutions
• Support delivery across multiple systems including Vista and Oracle Health
• Guide Agile teams through two week iteration cadences and execution activities
• Ensure consistent and compliant Agile reporting
• Deconflict sprint goals and requirements across multiple teams and work streams
• Prioritize work across teams to expedite delivery of milestones and feature releases
• Facilitate in person and virtual meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Communicate delivery status, risks, and value to leadership
• Promote operational excellence by empowering high performing Agile teams
• Support sustained organizational change through Agile best practices

• Certified SAFe Practice Consultant
• Experience leading Agile teams and client delivery efforts
• Experience supporting healthcare informatics initiatives
• Experience supporting Electronic Health Record systems including Vista and Oracle Health
• Experience working with Veterans Affairs or other Federal agencies
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong experience with Microsoft Suite
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
