The Systems Integration Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and integration of security and monitoring technology solutions in support of a federal agency's mission-critical operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

* The candidate must have a strong foundation in secure system architecture, vulnerability management, and compliance with federal security standards.
* Additionally, proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, C/C++, Power Shell, or Bash, along with experience in database management (Postgre

SQL,MySQL, or SQL Server), is required.
* This position demands strong technical problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a high-security environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, or a related field (or 5+ years of additional related experience). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* 5+ years of experience in system engineering, cybersecurity, and system integration.
* Proficiency in system design, network security, and security monitoring solutions.
* Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, C/C++, Power Shell, C#, or
* VB.
* Experience with database technologies:
Postgre

SQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
* Hands-on experience with system hardening, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
* Knowledge of secure software and system lifecycle management.
* Experience assisting in hardware and firmware integration for secure system deployment.
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work in fast-paced, high-security environments.
* Experience supporting custom hardware integration for security applications.
* Cybersecurity Certification:
Security+, CEH, or GSEC.
* Computer Aided Design experience and/or 3D printing experience.
* Experience developing, maintaining, and operating U.S. Department of State Special Countermeasures Systems.
* Experience developing, implementing, and integrating Department of State IDS and ACS solutions. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
* N/A Security Clearance:
* U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/TS-SCI security clearance are mandatory for this role. Physical Demands:
