Position Overview:
A mission-focused defense program is seeking a highly skilled Multi-Capable Analyst to provide advisory and operational support at the headquarters level. This role supports Joint-level irregular warfare activities, readiness and deployment training programs, and multi-capable personnel initiatives for senior executive leadership. The ideal candidate brings experience supporting headquarters-level and Joint Staff operations, coordinating across defense organizations, and responding to senior leader and congressional taskings.
This position requires strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills in a high-visibility environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide operational advisory support in non-technical education and training, deployment planning, and individual readiness requirements.
Establish and maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders and facilitate decision-level information flow to senior leadership.
Coordinate readiness and deployment training initiatives across Joint and defense organizations.
Conduct and participate in hands-on military training exercises, applying service-specific terminology and operational protocols to simulate real-world scenarios and enhance mission readiness.
Support career field managers in integrating multi-capable training and education into lifecycle training plans aligned with deployment models and readiness strategies.
Assist in validating training requirements for forward operating and contingency environments.
Contribute to the development, staffing, and approval of training syllabi in accordance with governing directives and policies.
Conduct open-source and classified research and analysis to support strategy development, implementation, and defense strategy reviews.
Prepare executive-level background papers, staff packages, and briefings for senior leadership.
Perform additional duties as assigned in support of mission requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI clearance.
Extensive experience in operational planning, readiness training, irregular warfare, or related mission areas.
Demonstrated experience supporting headquarters-level, Joint, or senior defense organizations.
Proven ability to coordinate across government agencies, Joint commands, and defense entities.
Strong experience developing, validating, and aligning training programs with readiness objectives.
Experience conducting research and analysis in a defense or Joint environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive briefing development.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
