Baer is looking for an experienced Sr. SAP EAM & EHS Functional Consultant for a 6-month Federal remote project.

Our client is leading a large-scale SAP ECC to SAP S/4

HANA transformation supporting a major branch of the Department of Defense (DoD). The program is executing a fit-to-standard S/4

HANA implementation, minimizing customizations and aligning business processes to SAP Best Practices. The focus includes modernization of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) capabilities within S/4

HANA, ensuring full integration with Materials Management (MM), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Production Planning (PP), and Finance (FI).

• Lead S/4
  
  HANA EAM and EHS business process workshops, driving design decisions across Repair & Maintenance and EHS operations
• Conduct structured S/4
  
  HANA fit-to-standard analysis, identifying gaps and guiding configuration decisions aligned to SAP Best Practices
• Design and optimize S/4
  
  HANA EAM processes including:
  • Corrective and Preventative Maintenance
  • Functional Locations and Equipment
  • Work Centers
  • Maintenance Notifications & Work Orders
  • Work Scheduling & Capacity Planning
  • Refurbishment Processes
  • Serial Number Management
• Facilitate cross-functional design discussions integrating EAM/EHS with MM, EWM, PP, and FI
• Analyze downstream impacts of maintenance and EHS design decisions (inventory movements, settlement rules, costing, planning integration)
• Support configuration validation, testing strategy, and deployment readiness within S/4
  
  HANA
• Provide functional guidance on EHS capabilities including:
  • Incident Management
  • Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
  • Dangerous Goods Management
  • Regulatory Compliance Frameworks
• Translate operational requirements into clear functional design documentation (FDDs) aligned to S/4
  
  HANA architecture
