Position Title: Data Analyst
Location: Hybrid (Arlington, VA)

POSITION SUMMARY

Sprezzatura is seeking a Data Analyst to directly supporting a team of technical experts who are providing hands‑on support to individual VA programs hosted within a Microsoft Azure environment. You will be required to interface directly with customers to understand requirements, research solutions, and provide support according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). In addition, you will be responsible for capturing business and technical requirements from customers as‑needed to complete service request portals for provisioning work groups and compute resources.

As a data analyst, you may be added to project teams in order to determine what data sets are needed for customers to meet their project requirements. Understanding of data attributes, integrations, ETL tools, APIs, MS Azure, and using tools such as JIRA will be part of the day to day.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collect and organize data from internal and external sources
  • Clean and preprocess datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Perform statistical analysis and identify patterns or trends
  • Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand data needs and deliver insights
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Support data‑driven decision‑making through clear communication of findings
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident to qualify for a Public Trust Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a data analyst.
  • Strong knowledge of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
  • Familiarity with backup and recovery tools, performance tuning, and monitoring utilities
  • Understanding of data privacy and protection regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis languages
  • Experience with data visualization tools and reporting platforms
  • Strong understanding of statistics, data modeling, and analytical techniques
  • Familiarity with databases, data warehouses, and ETL processes
  • Ability to lead and motivate a remote team
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Adaptability and openness to new ideas
WORKING CONDITIONS

Standard Business hours are Monday through Friday. Occasional extended or weekend hours may be required based on operational needs. Must have reliable internet service that allows for effective telecommuting.
