Title: Sr. Web Developr

Location: Alexandria, VA (Remote)

Clearance: Secret

Start: Upon Contract Award

• Ensuring websites are optimized for speed, scalability, and usability across all devices and browsers
• Conducting regular website updates, backups, bug fixes, and security monitoring to ensure maximum uptime and performance
• Creating and designing websites that translate visual design wireframes from Government customers into functional, responsive web pages
• Integrate data from various back-end services, databases, and APIs to ensure seamless functionality
• Writing efficient, testable, and reliable code using languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, as well as server-side languages
• Validating website functionality through user-acceptance testing and troubleshooting
• Conferring with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, and choose solutions
• Identify problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and correcting or referring problems to appropriate personnel correction
• Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems

• At least 8 years of experience in web development, with at least 2-3 years specifically in a senior or lead level role
• Advanced proficiency in front-end technologies, i.e., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or associated language knowledge
• Knowledge of database management technologies, to include SQL, Oracle, Oracle Apex, or similar environments
• Deep understanding of server-side languages, to include RESTful APIs
• Expertise in responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization
• Familiarity with web-security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Active Secret Clearance
• Continental travel may be required
• Bachelor’s (BS) and/or Master (MS) degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience (8+ years) - strongly preferred but not required
