Power Platform Solution Architect

FI Consulting is a Microsoft Independent Software Vender (ISV), and we are bringing several exciting new solutions to market based on Microsoft’s Power Platform/Dynamics 365. We are building a world‑class team of Microsoft business applications professionals and are looking for intelligent, creative, high‑potential consultants who want to grow with us. We are looking for a product‑focused Solution Architect to lead the technical evolution of our Power Platform solutions, including our Program Investment Manager (PIM) suite of applications.

You will drive the transition of PIM to an enterprise‑scale solution, architecting robust integrations across Dynamics 365, Azure, and the Power Platform
. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and scalable technical implementation, ensuring our solution is secure, compliant, and ready for the future of AI.

• Enterprise Architecture: Design and oversee the end‑to‑end architecture of the PIM solution, ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability within Microsoft Azure Government and Commercial cloud environments.
• Complex Data Modeling: Architect advanced Dataverse schemas that handle millions of transaction records while maintaining performance and referential integrity.
• Azure Integration: Lead the design of custom connectors and integrations using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and API Management to extend Power Platform capabilities.
• Security & Compliance: define Role‑Based Access Control (RBAC) models and data security policies that are compliant with FISMA and NIST 800‑53 policies as applicable.
• ALM & Dev Ops: Mature our CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops
  , ensuring a seamless flow from Development to Test to Production for managed solutions.
• Innovation: Develop and refine the product roadmap for new features, including the integration of Copilot and Azure OpenAI services for content generation and workflow automation.

• Proven Experience: 7+ years in software engineering or solution architecture, with at least 3+ years dedicated to deep Power Platform/Dynamics 365 development

• Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of Power Automate (complex flows, distinct from Logic Apps),
  Power Apps (Canvas & Model‑Driven), and Dataverse plugins/custom APIs.
• Azure Fluency: Ability to architect enterprise scale cloud solutions that integrate services or solutions outside Power Platform when necessary.
• Data Architecture: Experience designing data warehouses or reporting schemas for Power BI that do not degrade transactional system performance.
• Communication: Ability to explain complex architectural trade‑offs to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor agile teams of highly skilled developers, engineers, and analysts

  Experience:
  
  Experience designing or building systems for Federal agencies subject to FISMA, FedRAMP, or NIST 800‑53 requirements.
• AI Integration: Hands‑on experience integrating Azure OpenAI or Copilot Studio into business workflows (e.g., RAG patterns, prompt engineering).
• Certifications: Microsoft Certified:
  Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (
  PL-600
  ) is highly valued but not required.
